AWAIC sponsors a variety of both fundraising and educational events throughout the year. Everyone is encouraged to participate in all AWAIC activities. For specific dates and descriptions for each event, refer to the information below or follow the links.

"Graze to Raise" Visitor Industry Charity Walk May 2
Team up with AWAIC for Anchorage’s famous “Graze to Raise” 5K event May 2 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Delaney Park Strip.

AWAIC receives 100% of all designated AWAIC walkers’ entry fees and a portion of the overall contributions for the event -- have fun and make a difference in our community! Scores of Anchorage’s premier restaurants and caterers host food stations on the route (it’s an epicurean delight) – raise your fork!

It’s a 5K walk through downtown Anchorage – raise your heart rate! Cost of entry is $30 for adults and $15 for ages 5-18 ($40 adults & $25 youth after 29 April, but why wait to sign up for all the fun?).

Ladies Outdoor Night at Mt. View Sports May 8

Volunteer Training at AWAIC

This training will give volunteers the fundamentals of crisis intervention, an in-depth look at AWAIC's services, and a greater understanding of domestic violence.
